The transposition of the NIS 2 Directive
The transposition of NIS and NIS 2 in the Czech Republic
According to Article 41, by 17 October 2024, Member States shall adopt and publish the measures necessary to comply with the NIS 2 Directive. They shall immediately inform the Commission thereof. They shall apply those measures from 18 October 2024.

Status of transposition of the NIS 2 Directive.
28 November 2024 - The Commission calls on 23 Member States to fully transpose the NIS2 Directive.
The European Commission decided to open infringement procedures by sending a letter of formal notice to 23 Member States (Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Cyprus, Latvia, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland and Sweden) for failing to fully transpose the NIS2 Directive (Directive 2022/2555).
